Every year hundreds of new students from around the world come to study at the University of Idaho. Many of them have never experienced winter like we have on the Palouse and come ill prepared. In partnership with the International Programs Office, ASUI, and Student Sustainability Cooperative, The Center aims to provide winter clothing to University of Idaho students, scholars and their families.
Clothing Donations
Our goal for this year is to supply 100 coats, scarves, and gloves to students in need through the generous donations of our community. If you would like to donate you can contact a staff member through the Contact Form on our Connect Page to learn how to make a donation drop-off or learn how to collect clothing at your organization or place of business to be brought to The Center at a later date.
Volunteer for the Fall Coats for Vandals Event
On December 2nd, students will be able to come to The Center at 822 Elm Street between 2 and 4 PM and receive winter clothing to fit their needs.
We are looking for volunteers to do set-up/tear-down, staff clothing tables, and help students find coats, scarves, and gloves in their size. If you would like to volunteer for the event, click the Volunteer Registration button below and fill out the form on qualtrics.com |
