Hundreds of new students from around the world come to the University of Idaho each year, many experiencing a Palouse winter for the very first time. We believe every Vandal deserves to be warm. That's why The Center, in collaboration with the International Programs Office, ASUI, the Student Sustainability Cooperative, and the national nonprofit One Warm Coat, is dedicated to providing winter clothing to students, scholars, and their families. Your support makes a tangible difference by ensuring they have the coats, hats, and gloves they need to succeed, no matter the weather.
If you are a student in need of a winter coat, click the Coats for Vandals Need Form to let us know what your winter needs are.
Clothing Donations
Donations can be brought to R House Student Center between 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and placed in the designated donation bin downstairs in the clothing closet. We are located at 822 Elm Street in Moscow. If these hours don't work for you, please contact us to arrange an alternative drop-off time.
We are collecting new and gently-used winter coats, heavy socks, boots, gloves, scarves and hats for students in need. Please connect with us to learn more!
