A Commitment to Uncut Corners
When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very edges of your field, or gather the gleanings of your harvest. You shall not strip your vineyard bare, or gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the alien: I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:9-10 (NRSV)
We believe that Radical Hospitality and Blessing the "Widow, Orphan, Alien, and the Poor" is a cornerstone to the mission of the Gospel, and our calling to be a blessing to all peoples. To that end, we are dedicated to committing our time and resources to programs and opportunities to provide for the wellbeing of students on the Palouse. This is currently being accomplished through our Food Pantry and Coats for Vandals initiatives, our partnerships with Latah Recovery Center's Vandal Recovery program, the Moscow Food Co-Op, and collaborations with the University of Idaho ASUI and IPO.
We do not require or ask for or require any religious affiliation to participate in these programs and initiatives and believe that the work of the Gospel is accomplished solely through the blessing of others, and not through taking advantage of the needs of others for proselytizing.
